Do you remember picking up dandelions in the garden,
and blowing them away, when you were young?

you felt overjoyed to see the dandelion burst into fragments that scatter in the wind, that sense of freedom as you watch the seeds float, and you feel happy that you are scattering the seeds and making more dandelions grow.


So how does it work?
The Dandelion glows when turned on. The soft glow from the LED soothes you.
The Optical Fibres transfer the light from the LED to the tips. You are mesmerised by the glowing tips.
The LED is powered by batteries in the base.
There is a miniature electret microphone inside the Dandelion.
When you blow on it, the microphone picks up the signal, and the LED light from Dandelion slowly fades off. It doesn\'t fly off, but you know you made it change.
To turn it back on, touch the aluminium stand (contact sensitive).

Maybe you\'ve scattered some electric dandelion seeds...who knows? it\'s up to your imagination.

You can choose from a range of different colours. maybe one day i\'ll find the electronic schematics to change the colours of the LED using a knob.
How about using it as a nightlight? Blow on it before you go to sleep!
