Idea Details
LED\'s Wonder
Description
Inspired by the fiber optic, I tried to make a simple, easy to make & an energy saving prototype of LED\'s Fountain using the electrical conduit, small pump, common LEDs & a driver.

There are so many various water spray patterns can be made by means of adding nozzle heads & water pressure controller.

In my next experiment, I\'ll make it with other shapes, an adjustable water spray ,step sensors or the kind & color kinetic controller so that it would look more fabulous!!

This idea can also manage to smoothly spray the colorful water (or with pattern) on the wide fixed window glass at public spaces such as restaurants, cafes or night clubs etc for creating the low cost, energy saving & moody atmosphere.

Wonderful idea...!!! pocca
This is beautiful....n I like it. I\'m looking forward to your next idea...!! diana
This one looks the most original to me compare to the others\' ideas which look simply like the drawing plan. pocca
Nice idea. I think it is great that you made it and have pictures. As a play fountain it would be really fun if by touching the water I could change the colour of the lights. it would make a really fun and interactive public art piece if you could do that. howman
@pocca & diana :I\'m happy you like my creation..& tq for the compliment! @howman : that\'s a brilliant idea to make color changed by touching the water..., well, I think using IR as the sensor would work, wouldn\'t it? hmm,it\'s so challenging !!tq howman tootje
IR sensor would work just fine for this. LED Head
Or you could use a sensor that measures resistance as when you touch the water you change the resistance of it. I think IR would be too broad spectrum and wouldn\'t give you the effect you are looking for. howman
@LED Head: Well, I myself still doubt in using IR & howman was right,.. it wouldn\'t work. What is your opinion if I use the step sensor...so that if anybody steps near the water then the color changed or the nozzle moves etc. @howman: I never know there\'s sensor that measures resistance & can be installed under water...would you please recommend me?? tq tootje
