Bee light
Description
The design is inspired by the form of a bee pollinating a flower. The form evokes sensations and concepts like: spring, joy, garden, honey, work, fertilization and life.
The lamp is formed by base, handles and light bulb, made of acrylic and aluminum.
The base has a plate interlocked (to the wall, ceiling or floor), and a separable part that allows to move the lamp (works with rechargeable battery)
Following the concept of the bee, and looking for interaction with the people, the lamp has a programmable system of vibration noise that reacts to noise / laughter, or works like alarm-clock

so fun... you could use a form of resistive wire for the wings that create a buzzing sound when you touch the wire or pass your hand through it... you might also be able to connect that up to the light so you can change the light colour or intensity in the same way. We use to make little sound generators that worked like that... they would make the sound you get when you try to tune an old radio a weeeooohhh weeee zzzzz sound... if you touched the antennae at different points you could change the sound. howman

This is interesting! But a suggestion: If that lightbulb is not already on the market I think it would be hard to manufacture only for this product, and with that size would be harder. Using LEDs in some other creative ways would let you get to a more factible result. Plus, you could add more functionality to this shape, as howman said. The wings could be shown as the handle in order to make this portable... or any other use you imagine. cao_miguel
