I knew this idea should already exist, as most of our ideas do it seems... so google showed me what people had come up with so far... this idea could be so much more with a little element of emotion added! imagine the keyboard you use everyday changing colour to soothe you through your workday... or if you can\'t bear to look at your screen to see the time, change to display the time or the date or a message of your choice across the keyboard. it could even display a pleasent wavelike effect or some crazy swrils if thats what you like. maybe the light could respond to your touch on the keys and sense when you are getting angry or working too hard(or too little!). I like the idea someone had to incorporate the day planner into a light display... this feature would be very easy to add to this idea to let you know in a more peaceful, or urgent, display that you have an event to attend.
another great idea is to add a music response light display across the keys to keep you rockin!
the technology already exists... this idea is more of an addon to create a more pleasing, creative working, or playing environment!
this idea may even work much better with the virtual keyboard you can see in the last image. it is already a keyboard of light... adding any feature would likely be easy to display!
