Thank you! Nazila
thx ;-) interesting design hartymd3
Thank you.your Ideas are wonderful!I will use your opinions. Nazila
:) thx durica
the visualizations that come with media players just measure the amplitude of the sound, with this it detects the tone and the color depicts the emotions in the person. If someone is upset then the color changes, if the person is relaxed while speaking the color changes. Classic
the color, because color can describe moods and emotions. Using Color thoery. Classic
Thanks! ChrisNatt
Hey, I wanted to tell you personally that I really like your approach to the ideas of lighting. I really appreciate the thought put into each idea and the feedback that you give to other people. Good Job! Classic
Yea, everytime I read a critique by you its always very good and people can take alot from it. I think that is very important. Even your ideas has a nice asthetic aspect but yet the concept behind the idea very strong Classic
Thanks howman, great idea about making them fly/change color - now if you could only make\'em levitate silently, for $4.99/piece, you\'d probably get a Nobel prize :)) giorgio789
Soon! love the new concept by the way. ChrisNatt
Thanks alot. Nazila
thank you very much for your feedback! Pri
Perfect!I think about that. Nazila
Hey thank you!
I see you have a good bunch of project here, very interesting.
keep up the good work! steste
Thanks for letting me know the bugs - I am working on it! diplomod
@steste - thanks.
howman
@diplomod - no problem... the design changes are really good. howman
I have noticed, and it isn\'t a huge problem, that when I do a detailed evaluation, in the sorting section, projects I have not viewed or evaluated are offered for sorting. I don\'t mind it, but it is a disservice to the designer as I can not evaluate a design I have not viewed against one I am viewing, so these designs tend to be ranked low in the sorting. This is something to take into consideration when finalizing the weight of the sorted evaluation in judging. howman
good photo! :) Kris
I started typing a lot, but could be summed up as you have some great ideas of your own and invaluable insight into those of others. riddickuliss
Photos of children!
and yours too! Kris
ok..DON\'T PANIC..:) durica
thx for your advice..I can´t manage without ;D durica
nice compliment from you, thx, I like your direction of mind in yours ideas durica
Howman
Thanks for the comment.
The system does not work with the brake pressure, is independent
and its achieved by the activating sensors that according
to the distance of a car behind it,
the lights get dimmer or brighter. HelferDesign
Thank you that you show me how much somebody need the interaction :) durica
Love your innovative designs! I hope some of them make it onto the market one day Jak
I like your idea. But I wonder if superimposing the therapeutic light on the screen will reduce the available contrast ratio of the display? Maybe the auxiliary light could be around the edge of the screen instead of overlaying it. howard
@skilleder - None of these have been put into prototype as of yet. The point of these ideas is for the community to help develop them and to push the boundaries of what is possible with todays and tomorrows technology. Some of my ideas are far future and others are more possible with todays technology. If you notice, just about every idea I present is not a product solution but an underlying technology which can be used in many products. My goal is not to develop something that can be sold quick and easy but rather to inspire and provide a tool set for others to develop products from. I have said it before somewhere here, but I have no real desire to create the music player but rather the music file, to use a parallel. I also address the emotional aspect of each idea in a situation in order to illustrate one possible affective application. howman
Hallo Howman, Thank you for your comment. But I don«t understand \"We have 8 Ladies and Gentleman...\". Does it mean eight ideas about fabric? Please help me burk
Hi howman. Here is my suggestion of how the goggle would detect the mood. Reading a few articles I came to know that our eye color changes with our mood. So placing a color sensor in the goggle would detect the color of the eye that indirectly reflects our mood. Now according to the color detected the goggle would change the color correspondingly as stated before. Thx for your suggestion, ya for application in certain situations where we want the reverse thing to happen we would change the goggle to more aggressive color, in way to heighten the sense of person wearing it, put them on edge and make them more aggressive. Here instead of relaxing mode we would rather have violent mode. Hope u get Me.! pavithrabvs

@howman:ha ha.. you probably cannot swap out the lights as you may have to return your bands back to your teachers and you are not allowed to take it back. ya i agree with you, the teacher can also be made to wear a one as we can find how well the teacher has understood the concept....i dont understand /*Fitting that the OP used images of South Park\\\'s classroom...*/ pavithrabvs
Thanks for your feed back had undertaken initial research and hadn\'t found anything similar. Still think that the idea could be further developed.appreciate your comments though. lindaexmoor

Electro-Lumincecsent-Crystal-Display Paint or TV in a Can
Description
This idea is about...
Comments
great!!, please paint my wall/ walls!
hartymd3
so u will watch tv on ur wall?
Classic
@ Classic - yep, your wall becomes the TV.
howman
Wow, nice...u have a true space saver. I like.
Classic
sounds like nearly impossible... i hear the new TV...that is the TV before 3DTV will be like an organic film, almost like what you describe without the paint... do people really need more tv in their lives?
quasi
I can\'t say whether people need or don\'t need more TV in their lives but to remove the social control and information dissemination aspect of television would be socially impactful on a massive scale.
howman
I was just thinking that used as a computer monitor this device would make advertising, trade show displays and offices look very different than they are today.
howman
I could also see some form of touch sensitivity incorporated into this for crazy applications such as an input device area where someones nationality is recognized, through any number of user input means, and a suitable keyboard is displayed for them to use.
howman
How much costs one tin please? :) big idea
durica
@durica - I would love to see a tin going for about $299.00 a litre. This would be enough to cover about 100sq ft with two good coats using a paint roller, or a 12 by 9 foot wall section. This would give you a monitor with a 4:3 aspect ratio and a diagonal size of 15 ft or 180\". At 16:9 your monitor would be 12 ft across and 6.77 ft high giving you a screen of 13.7ft or 164.4 inches.
howman
@durica - of course you would then have to buy the TV transmission bar in the length you want and those would have a different price. This way you could have multiple monitors on one wall or change your size by just changing the bar. I would hope the bars would go for about $599 for a 48\" bar and run up to a few thousand dollars for a 12ft long bar.
howman
I was just thinking that these bars could be so much fun as a portable device. Sort of like a monitor bar for your netbook, or laptop where you could go into a coffee shop and just pop your bar onto the painted wall and have your monitor for your computer right there... couple this with a small laser keyboard device and a smart phone as your processing centre and you have an ultimate portable computer... Next idea...
howman
very interesting..I don´t understand why you need two coats with such perfect technology ;)..and when I print a big tranparent sphere would I have a 3d projection? something like a magic globe in which I may see the hot news of a day ?)
durica
@durica - yes, you would have a full surround television provided the TV bar is made flexible... which it now would be :)
howman
I like this idea - a way to decrease the clutter of devices in your house, too. And you could do crazy experiments like paint patterns instead of solid squares. Sure it wouldn\'t be much good for watching TV then... but it would look cool, and it does give you freedom.

Might want to consider using OLED technology for this. Interesting article in the June 2009 LED Magazine. Th e unique features of OLED lighting are inspiring the imagination of designers, who are exploring various OLED lighting applications: windows, curtains, automotive light, decorative lighting, and wallpaper.
LED Head
@LED Head - Yes I saw your posting of this... word for word... on another idea post... I took a look at the article and have worked with OLED\'s before. I am not sure if they would be the proper application... I was thinking of some form of nano-biological solution that could be directed so to speak.
howman
I like the interaction you suggested.
bahars
@bahars - Thank you.
howman
The only drawback I see is that there could be some settling in the paint, people would have to make 100% sure they have stirred it properly. Maybe they have a special shaker at the paint store and it only is guaranteed if you paint with it within 24-48 hours?
LED Head
Good point LED Head... I just figure that if we get to the point that this is possible, they would have figured out the settling paint problem too... Funny though, it would be something as simple s that which would cause the most problems... isn\'t that always the way.
