Also in a bar setting, you could base whether or not the chair was available based on color. If someone went to the washroom or outside to smoke, they could set the color to say red, and people would know the chair is still in use. LED Head

hmm intersting..I prefer to ask somebody :)..if I don´t wont wear uniform to the world or read instructions on the bar door about whitch colour what does mean ;)..I was thinking about the classic LED products, they can change colour every special time or when night is comming or when is big smoke arround or when is the ice action so lights on blue and when is temperament atmosphere so colours of Jamaica or the nation party..whatever, its only about the printed circuit..I think durica

These are great ideas. Especially the changing colour while in use and red when taken... but how does the chair know if you have just gone to the dance floor or bathroom, or if you have left for the night... You would need some form of rifd tag or something. howman

Nah, as soon as you leave the building or go to the coat check and turn in your rfid coat check tag, the system knows you are no longer at the club and the seat is available. Of course if you go the clubs I do, no amount of colour will stop someone from taking your chair, drink or girl. :) howman

I would love to see this in an area where people are waiting like at a doctor\'s office, as the chair goes from white to red, the people know who they should be getting in next! Oh...to have this when we go to renew our driver\'s license or any other slow government agency. I don\'t think they would allow it in congress, but it would be funny if they did, and when a congressman or senator fell asleep, it turned their chair red! LOL LED Head

I just really like the form of these chairs... You have a great handle on design elements. I could see these as patio furniture... with the lights... now all you have to do is design a table and umbrella to go with them. howman
