As fascinating as the technology is, how do you see it implemented in a way that makes the user experience? I guess I am a little confused because this is an explanation of an earlier contribution... Would you please explain here how this particular device works in conjunction with the other devices and is applicable to the underwater love light. Not to be a jerk, but posting circuit boards for technology that would be pie in the sky great in any product, with no discussion of the how or why doesn\'t provide useful information. I would like to understand how you see this technology implemented as I think you probably have some really interesting concepts and everyone would benefit from your knowledge and experience.

Look at the video in the previous link. Basically this technology allows completely wireless links. You can use a remote to change the color of one light, get it where you like it and tell that light to change all the rest of the lights. Or you can change one light to a certain color, lock it in and go to another light and change it to a different color, lock it in, and so on. You can do many many lights with the technology. There is going to be a broadcast of the technology by freescale today at 3 or 3:30.
Color change is not the only thing you can do. This technology can be interfaced to a computer or other control devices so you could do things light auto adjust brightness levels on all lamps based on ambient light and it could be done wirelessly and you only have to have one ambient light sensor instead of one per light.
Another example, you could set the light based on outside temperature (silly example I know but...). If it is warm, the light is yellow, hot it is red, cold it turns blue.
You could combine this technology and the twitter/facebook mood ideas and have your computer scan for certain words and set the mood of the lights based on its scans and it can do it all wirelessly.
This technology could be used to interface the TV mood lighting idea to other lighting in the room or house. The possibilities are pretty endless, it is some really neat stuff. I am just frustrated because this is brand new technology and I won\'t be getting technical data or evaluation boards until after the second phase is over.

It is very frustrating to see what I call \"vaporware\" (that term really applies to software or software features that don\'t exist...yet...but a company shows them.
I contacted people right after I saw the video and they told me \"maybe in about another month\". That is frustrating to say the least. I agree with maybe? keeping the website up after the contest is over, because I know that at least for me, I would like to see how these ideas all play out up to and including commercialization of the products.
