Stimuli – Touch
Description
The concept of stimuli touch is a light that that can sense the user’s interaction with it through electronically monitoring vibrations sensed within the light. The light processes the vibration and represents the users interaction through the intensity, colour of light emitted as well as the physical form of the light.

The light starts off as a natural white, when it is picked up the light will faze in to more playful active colour and a core module with extrude from inside the ball. changing the shape of the light.

If the light if put down and left alone for more than 5 minuets the process would reverse, the core of the light would be retracted and the colour would become more natural.

The light uses simple mechanical mechanisms to achieve the changes in shape. Ideally the light would be encased in a soft flexible material such as latex to provide a more organic appearance.

The Light could utilize one of Osrams RGB LEDs controlled by a microprocessors using pulse width modulation to faze colours seamlessly.

That\'s interesting - but do you think it\'s fun to use it or are there other let\'s say \"value creating\" aspects? diplomod
I\'l upload another concept shortly that shows the progression of this idea. ultimately you could tune it in to anything. temperature or light intensity for example. You could defiantly add countless other features to add value with very few extra components in the circuitry! ChrisNatt
You never uploaded your other idea. howman
How cute! I\'d definitely have one of these on my desk. Do you imagine it more as a play thing or does it have other applications? Jak
Just curious, where / for what purpose do you see this idea being used? bahars
Interesting idea. Some time ago I\'m thinking how to avoid the problem of tennis \"the ball outside or inside\" I think your idea is an inspiration to solve this problem. Congratulations HelferDesign
The idea that this reflects the user\'s interaction with the device is fabulous. It is also interesting that you read some of the unconscious interactions from the user such as their mood from different monitors. howman
