Thanks for pointing out the link, had undertaken initial research and hadn\'t found anything similar. Still think that the idea could be further developed. lindaexmoor

A variant of this could be the one which glows when the person wearing it had drunk. It would detect the brain waves and glow various colors depending upon the level to which he/she had drunk. This could be used during parties. It could of great fun at the parties to see the heads glowing. pavithrabvs

Glowing Heads
Description
Now it is becomes easy for teachers, professors to find out whether their students have understood their teaching. This hair band has a brain wave detector in it. It also has three led on it.
Green - glows when the student has understood the concept fully.
Yellow - glows when the student has understood the concept partially.
Red - glows when the student did not understood the concept.
Now when a student has understood the concept fully, his/her brain generates a wave pattern which is detected by the detector and it glows the green led. In similar way the other led are made to glow accordingly. So the teacher can easily identify the extent to which the students have understood the concepts. It would also be a real fun to have lights glowing on the heads in the class.

Good thought - I just doubt I would have it on me when in class. I would suggest an application in a more leisure/fun way - e.g. glows when someone is drunk at a party ;) diplomod
For me in school, the teachers would have thought the battery was dead because the lights would be completely out! LOL LED Head
@LED Head - I would probably have swapped out the green LED\'s for purple or blue just to confuse the teacher... I agree with diplomod... no way they are strapping this thing to my head unless I am drunk... I do thin that th teacher should be wearing one though to see if they know what they are teaching... Fitting that the OP used images of South Park\'s classroom... lol howman
@howman:ha ha.. you probably cannot swap out the lights as you may have to return your bands back to your teachers and you are not allowed to take it back. ya i agree with you, the teacher can also be made to wear a one as we can find how well the teacher has understood the concept.... pavithrabvs
@LED Head:ha ha.... any way it would be helpful for your teachers to find out whether you are active or not...so you cant cheat them telling that you understood the concept pavithrabvs
