The idea for this came from another product already commercially available. Slippers for your feet with lights in them. I know it might sound silly but for the elderly who do have trouble seeing in low light, slippers with lights are not necessarily a silly idea.

I got thinking though...I like my slippers I don\'t want to have to wear a certain slipper just because it is the one with the light.

So I propose to use a clip style light, that is activated by capacitance. You clip this to the top your slipper, and when you slip your foot in, it turns on automatically, when you remove your foot it goes back out.

You could also clip it to sleeves on a bathrobe, and when you have to get up in the middle of the night and you put the robe on it turns on the lights automatically.

An idea on how you could use this in an office environment would be that for example if you clip this to important paperwork and leave it on someones desk, it could flash an led to let them know it is important, when they pick it up and touch it, the led goes back off.
