I\'m not sure that the application of LED\'s into a tennis ball would be the best thing.... I have a feeling that it would cause the ball to react differently when hit... I think that some form of electroluminescent fibre making up the balls surface might be a better way to go. howman

Instead of tennis you could make up a game where it would be more preferrable to use such an idea. I dont think that tennis players would be fond of this. bahars

Back when I was a kid we used to have soft sponge balls with plastic rackets. This might work. And we always went down to the park and just batted the ball around over large distances, not really playing tennis but it was fun. Bahars absolutely right, how a game of night pool volley ball?
