LED Lighting Façade
Description
My idea is to create a self-sufficient LED illuminated façade. The color of the façade is changing according to atmospheric parameters, like a forest changes its colors along the seasons of the year. The changing color of the RGB LEDs makes the façade of the building different every night, creating an item in the city.

The interactive lighting system of the façade brings joy and hope to the people.

The RGB LEDs are placed in aluminum perforated tubes; each tube is composed of two RGB LEDs, a photovoltaic cell, a microcontroller (CPU), a battery, a light and a temperature sensors. The façade absorbs energy from the sun and transforms this energy to electricity.

It would be great to see these types of lighting installations. I think that movement of light and colour really has an effect on a city as a whole. howman
are those daytime lights on during the day? if so, wouldn\'t that be a waste of energy? Overall, I like it and I like the rods. I think its cool. Classic
During the daytime the LED façade is turn off as you can see in the daytime images. The façade of the building turns on automatically when the night comes due to the light sensors (the goal of the light sensor is to count the intensity of the exterior light and to turn on/off automatically the façade). I like the concept, I am just not sure if the perforations would be harbors for things like bee\'s nests or other insects. If the tube perforations become clogged with any debris, this will affect light output (leaves, dirt dust etc.). LED Head
Some form of self cleaning would be good, or it would have to be encased within something that could be cleaned or is self cleaning... There are some interesting types of glass that do a pretty good job of keeping themselves clean. howman
